I work with digital mirrorless Nikon Z cameras, and various lenses depending on the required images. If I work with a second photographer, cameras’ brand may differ. This does not affect the final result, which is always colour corrected to obtain a unified series.

A 50% deposit of the full session fee is required at the time of signing the photography estimate, with the remaining 50% due on the photo session date. Should we need to reschedule, the deposit can be used on a future date. In the event of cancellation, please read below under What is your policy for rescheduling or cancelling a session?

Professional photography, like music, literature, tv, software, brands etc. works on a licensing based system.
In the UK, the photograph is automatically copyrighted once it’s been made by the Photographer, ie. the Photographer owns the image.
A licence details how the photograph will be used, and by whom. If you have a smaller budget, the usage allowed will be adjusted to accomodate that budget. The more usage requirements, the higher the cost. Less usage requirements, the lower the cost. I always suggest only purchasing usage for what you really intend to use it for. This way the cost can be kept down for you. You can always add usage at a later date for a particular need on only the images you need it for.

Portrait sessions start from 2 hours, and Headshot sessions at 30 minutes. The duration depends mostly on the number and variety of photos you need. Our initial free consultation helps us gather this information to ensure a tailored experience.

When you book a session, you automatically get your chosen number of photographs professionally edited by myself in a realistic fashion. If you need advanced retouching, you can request a quote to have it done.

Final turnaround time depends on the volume of the material selected for post-production and is always agreed with the client up-front. When you have booked a Headshot or Portrait session, retouched images are initially presented to you via online gallery.
-
Once I receive payment (in full and cleared funds), I grant a license to the client to use the images for the purposes of their business. I retain copyright on all visual materials supplied to my clients.
-
Yes, it will be signed by all parties in order to confirm the booking.
-
The deposit is non-refundable, but should we need to reschedule, you may apply your deposit to a future session within 6 months of the paid date. If a confirmed shoot is cancelled, for reasons outside the control of the Photographer the following fees plus expenses in all cases are applicable: Cancellation within two days notice = 100% fees plus expenses incurred. Between 3 and 6 days notice = 75% fees plus expenses incurred. 7 days notice and over = 25% fees plus expenses incurred.
-
I don’t usually require a specific notice period, however, I recommend booking as soon as you are able to, in order to secure your date and time. Most sessions cannot be booked short notice due to coordination time constraints.
